ekWateur

The ekWateur energetic sonic identity features escalating shouts, aligning with its bold stance on green energy. Used in TVCs and digital campaigns, it effectively amplifies the brand’s rebellious message, “Our gas is shit.”

Julien Tchernia

President

This was a first for us and we were not disappointed : this was a sonically enriching creative experience ! The collaboration with Sixième Son allowed us to find a sonic logo that fit us perfectly.

Screaming with energy

Challenge

ekWateur, French startup making waves in the green energy sector.

Screaming with energy, ekWateur needs to be heard amongst the energy giants.

So to respond to their target audience – public figures, small businesses or individuals – and to stay coherent with their brand identity, ekWateur wanted to put forth a high performing, strategic sonic brand. It had to answer to two needs : offer an adapted response for a startup and to include the whole team in the project.

Sonic concept

The ekWateur sonic identity is modern, electrifying, a way to discuss serious matters without being taken so seriously.

This creative concept is an escalation of shouting that grabs attention.

The sonic logo was created by the associates so they could be heard amongst the energy giants.

Outcome

The sonic identity was adapted across all touchpoints including TVC spots, as well as their “Gas” and “Electricity” digital marketing campaigns.

This unique sonic brand mirrors their strong brand message : “Our gas is shit”.

A quarantine TVC spot was produced with an adapted soundtrack derived from the sonic identity.

Toute l’équipe s’est prêtée au jeu au sein des studios de l’agence et en a fait un moment privilégié de com’ interne.

The whole team participated in the making of it at the agencies’ studios and it was a special PR moment.

The media even relayed the start-up’s audacious sound.
