Since its founding in 1995, Sixième Son has leveraged the universal language of music to support NGOs and social initiatives dedicated to creating a more inclusive, equitable world.
From fighting hunger to amplifying the voices of children, we’ve used sonic branding to bring attention, empathy, and cohesion to causes that matter. Working with them is also inspiring for our team. It adds meaning to our work whilst giving us time to make the world a better place, using the power of sonic branding.
Action Against Hunger
For nearly four decades, Action Against Hunger has fought global hunger across 50 countries. Sixième Son composed a sonic identity that balances urgency with hope, evoking the severity of hunger while promoting unity and resilience. The result reflects the NGO’s mission and connects its teams and supporters through sound.
SOS Group
Europe’s largest nonprofit for social change, SOS Group, works in nine vital areas including health, employment, ecology, and culture. Sixième Son designed a sonic identity that mirrors the group’s diverse audiences and mission, echoing the richness of its visual brand and societal impact.
Watch Duty California Wildfires
California-based nonprofit Watch Duty helps people stay informed during wildfire emergencies. Their app pulls real-time data from public sources to guide citizens and first responders. We created a notification sound that is effective yet calming, praised by users for “bringing comfort” in crisis moments.
Unicef
As a global advocate for children, UNICEF required a sonic identity that puts youth at the forefront. We created a soundscape that amplifies their voices and demands for respect, safety, and future opportunities, helping the organization deliver a powerful, emotional message worldwide.
Paris Philharmonic
The Paris Philharmonic celebrates music education and inclusion. Its sonic identity captures the spirit of accessibility, encouraging cultural elevation and connection across all communities. This project reinforces the belief that everyone deserves access to artistic expression.
