Forest Carbon is a leading environmental asset company dedicated to protecting and restoring ecosystems at scale across Southeast Asia through carbon offset initiatives.
In the carbon credit market where skepticism runs high due to dubious offset projects, Forest Carbon needed to showcase their scientific rigour, on-the-ground expertise and holistic environmental impact to inspire investor partnerships.
As part of Forest Carbon’s brand refresh, Forest Carbon chose to give nature a voice to, using the power of sound to tell its story and bring the impact of its work to life.
In 2024, Forest Carbon partnered with Design Bridge and Sixième Son to craft a sonic-first brand identity rooted in the acoustic richness of Southeast Asia’s restored ecosystems. To support their campaign “In Tune with Nature,” the project transformed natural soundscapes into a dynamic visual and sonic language.
Using bioacoustic recordings—like the call of the Bornean orangutan or the roar of the Sumatran tiger— the agency applied frequency analysis and Chladni pattern visualisation to create a living, evolving system. These sounds became the backbone of a brand identity that is both sensory and scientific.
•This innovative approach allowed Forest Carbon to move beyond conventional green imagery and instead let nature speak for itself through sound. The result is a brand that feels organic, credible, and deeply emotive.
With this work, Forest Carbon not only affirms the value of nature left intact but also builds a compelling narrative for investors and communities alike. Sound becomes their signature—proof of life, resilience, and regeneration.
