US Business Development Associate

Job description

Our US office is looking for a sales person, preferably with some branding agency experience to help build the US business through, and beyond, their personal network, by identifying, developing and closing prospects.

Sonic Branding takes some explanation; explanation of the category itself, as well as the strong competitive advantages offered by Sixième Son. This person must have experience at selling ideas (conceptual sales).

Requirements

· Contacts in large corporations

· Comfortable interacting in a global landscape but focused on the US.

· Strong writing skills are a plus

· Experience particularly in small / entrepreneurial roles

· 2+ years’ B2B sales experience

· Track record of superior performance metrics

· Able to work mostly from home in addition to our Midtown workspace

· Able to travel as much as one week per month

Profile

You have the talent and the skill to build the business

· Recognizes business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options

· Sells our services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.

· Make new contacts and maintains an organized method for staying in touch

· Regular reporting of business development efforts

· Able to ID that key moment when a brand is ripe for Sonic Branding – stays in touch with industry, publication and people

· Help clients ID what pockets of money might be available for projects that are not currently in budget.

· Able to manage a junior assistant and will be responsible for developing that role based on support needed.

You will report to US Managing Diector.

Compensation based on experience. Base salary plus commission
